History

Freeway Security Wholesalers (formerly Freeway Electric Wholesalers) was founded in 1966 by Doug Prescott. Initially marketing Electrical Switch Gear and Switch Board Cabinets.

In 1976, Doug’s son, Paul Prescott, joined the business and changed the direction of the wholesaling business and concentrated on Electronic Security Products. The third generation business with the addition of Paul’s son, Stephen Prescott (joined 1996), has built a solid foundation of over 40 years experience in Electronic Security and Communication Products.

We remain a major contributor to the security industry and market quality products, such as; Security Alarm Systems, Video Intercom Systems, Electronic Door Locks, Access Control, C.C.T.V. and Public Address Systems. As members of Electrical and Security Industry groups, we endeavour to maintain a strict code of ethics and a professional level of expertise.
