CS - 4 Door Controller
INTELLIGENT 4 DOOR CONTROLLER
Overview
The Networked CS Controller provides full timezone control of hundreds of doors, elevator and alarm control, centrally controlled by your PC. Its modular design makes it cost competitive for both small and large jobs.

Housed in a protective lockable steel cabinet, this small circuit board contains all of the programming and connections necessary for:
· Door control (doors, boom gates etc)
· Elevator control
· Alarm points

All the decisions regarding user access, time zone operation of doors etc are made by each controller. The controller also records all transactions (eg valid key, alarms etc) which are then logged on a PC.

Benefits of the CS Controller include:

· Distributed control: Providing the same fast response no matter how large the system is. It also provides a robust system where any faults are localised to one controller.

· Wide range of readers supported: Providing the best solution for your requirements.

· Available options
Silicon key, Presco keypad and radio transmitter:
4 Doors with request to exit push button
2 Doors with request to exit push button and door monitoring (for door open too long and forced door alarms)

          Wiegand, magstripe, barcode and smartcard:
4 Doors with no request to exit push button
2 Doors with request to exit push button and door monitoring (for door open too long and forced door alarms)

For more information on readers, see The Right Choice Of Reader

· Transaction logging: All actions are recorded and are available for later analysis. If something goes missing, you can find out who was present! Who normally enters this area after hours? Do people start when they say they do?

· Time zones: Provide automation of the system. Doors can automatically lock and unlock during the day. Alarm zones can automatically arm and disarm. People can have access granted or denied depending upon the time of day. 20 standard time zones and 20 extended time zones are available.

· Access groups to simplify user programming. Access groups determine where and when users are able to go. Up to 63 access levels per controller are available. This provides an almost unlimited number of access levels per system.

· 3000 current users (20,000 with expanded memory chips) are supported. Users can remain in the database once they have left and be assigned no access. They are not included in the 3000.

· Parking: Each controller can track how many people from a tenant have entered a car park. If this level exceeds an operator set level (per tenant) then no more tenant cars can enter. No more "stolen" car spots! Up to 63 parking zones can be defined. Access groups are then assigned to parking zones.

· Floor management/guard tour: Where no doors require controlling, up to 8 Silicon key readers can be connected to a controller. The controller will then log when a key is read. This provides a cost-effective method to prove the guards inspected an area, or the cleaners were present. Reports are available showing the first time an area was entered, last time, number of times in a day an area was visited and average time in-between, as well as a full listing of all visits.

· Modular design: Up to 128 controllers can be linked together providing control of up to 512 readers, 128 elevators, or 30000 alarm points.

· Programmable door times: Including
+ how long the door will be unlocked after a valid key,
+ how long the door can be held open after a valid key (before a Door Open Too Long alarm), and
+ how long the door can be held open without a valid key (before a Forced Door alarm).
